Early treatment built around growth — not just straight teeth.
The right treatment at the right age can create space, guide developing bites, widen narrow arches, and prevent bigger problems later. At Bella Smile, we use Invisalign First, palatal expanders, braces, or a combination — tailored to your child’s growth.
What Phase One treatment can do
For kids with a mix of baby and permanent teeth, early treatment may:
Create space for incoming permanent teeth
Correct crowding and narrow arches
Fix crossbites and bite problems
Guide healthy jaw development
Address oral habits affecting teeth or bite
Prevent minor issues from becoming major ones
Not every child needs early treatment. We treat when it helps — and monitor when it doesn’t.
Invisalign First: built for growing smiles
Designed for developing mouths with erupting teeth, Invisalign First is removable, so kids eat, brush, and floss normally. For narrow upper jaws, we may pair aligners with an Invisalign Palatal Expander.
Why pediatric experience matters
Kids aren’t small adults — jaws are growing and timing matters. We evaluate jaw growth, arch width, tooth eruption, airway, and oral habits to decide: treat now, or monitor and wait.
How it works
Evaluation — photos, X-rays, and an iTero scan map your child’s growth and bite
Personalized plan — your orthodontist walks you through the findings and options
Growth-guided treatment — precise movements, tracked as your child develops
Ongoing monitoring — included visits between Phase One and Phase Two
An orthodontist at every visit
Your child sees a real orthodontist — not a technician running a preset series. Parents get direct access to our team between visits.
When should my child first see an orthodontist?
Around age 7 — early enough to catch problems before they’re harder to treat. Most kids we see don’t need treatment right away; sometimes the plan is simply to watch and wait. Consultations are complimentary.
